Frank Lampard to leave New York City FC at the end of the season

New York City FC has announced that the former Chelsea midfielder will not return to the club for the 2017 MLS campaign.

Frank Lampard will leave New York City FC when his contract expires at the end of 2016, the MLS club announced Monday.
