The election commission of Ghana has revealed on Monday that any journalist who wishes to cover the upcoming Presidential elections set for Wednesday, December 7, 2016 will have to pay a fee to obtain an accreditation for the coverage.
In the statement released by the Head of Communication, Eric Kofi Dzakpasu, he confirmed the report saying: ‘Accreditation tags will be given to only those who have formally applied for it and for a fee to be determined by the Commission.’
