Check out Trending Fade Haircuts To Bring to Your Barber

The Best Fade Haircuts To Bring to Your Barber

Like any hairstyle, nailing the fade haircut is about knowing exactly what to ask for at the barber. Whether you go high or low with the fade, and how you style the hair on top, can change everything. This is one of those cuts that can skew trendy or tough, conservative or DGAF, depending on those little details.

Here, a look at a dozen popular celebrity fades and what makes each one unique. If you don't find something in here you like, you might want to go back to the drawing board. It might seem like every guy in America is rocking this 'do, but there are still one or two other cuts to consider.

Though, the list is not in particular order.(photos)

2. David Beckham
David Beckham's long-on-top fade is among the most Googled haircuts in the country. That's probably because it's got great volume on top and is just groomed enough (and also because he's David Beckham).
3. Adam Levine

If you're looking for a fade that isn't shaved down too close to the skin on the sides, Levine's haircut is a good one to look into.

4 . Jimmy Butler
If you've got coarse and/or curly hair, Jimmy Butler's fade with twists is a solid choice. Hell, half of the NBA has already copied him.

5. Cameron Dallas

If you're under 25 with a full head of thick hair (congrats), make like Cameron Dallas and bleach it out and grow it long on top.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo

We happen to think Ronaldo is a little heavy-handed when it comes to hair product but the cut itself, closely cropped and well defined, deserves recognition.

7. Gordon Hayward

Hayward's hair always looks good, even when he's sweating buckets. His naturally thick straight hair certainly helps, but the precision of his cut and his skilled use of product are what really seal the deal.

8. Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt gave up his military-inspired fade years ago but the cut lives on in grooming history. To achieve the look go super-high with the shaved sides (almost to mohawk territory) and slick the length on top straight back.

9. Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is proof that, when it comes to hair, where there's will, there's a way. The formerly curly-haired pop singer likely chemically straightened his hair before buzzing it down into tight high fade.

10. Nick Young

Nick Young is hair chameleon who can pull off anything but we're partial to his signature fade with twists on top. Poke around for more angles of this cut and you'll find Young often keeps it longer in the back, like a full mohawk.

11. Ryan Reynolds

If you've got thinner hair or work in an office and don't want a Cameron Dallas-level fade, try Ryan Reynolds' short-all-over cut. Bonus: With hair this short you barely have to style it.

12. Sergio Ramos
Sergio Ramos is living proof that the modern-day fade makes every guy look more handsome. Like many other soccer players, Ramos's cut has a distinct side part and is faded on the low side.
