President Buhari's daughter thankful to those who attended her wedding

President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Fatimah, has expressed satisfaction with the turnout of guests at her wedding on Friday, October 28.
Though the president was absent at the wedding of his second daughter, the venue was packed filled with dignitaries and traditional rulers.

Fatimah became the 4th wife to Gimba Yau Kumo, a former managing director of Mortgage Bank, in Daura, Katsina state.

The bride speaking with NAN, said: “I am really surprised about the turn out because it was a short notice to everyone, so seeing so many people, am very happy.”
The marriage was contracted in accordance with Islamic injunctions and was attended by top federal and state government officials.



They included Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo and Bauchi state governor, Muhammad Abubakar.

Ministers at the occasion were Abdurrahman Dambazau (interior), Mansur Dan-Ali (defence), and Kayode Fayemi (solid minerals).

Ibrahim Idris, inspector-general of police; Muhammad Babandede, comptroller-general of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS); and Lawal Daura, director-general, Department of State Service, also graced the occasion.
