Yoruba Man Weds Ibibio Lady In Lagos (Photos)

Udeme Bassey is from Akwa Ibom State and Temitope Jalekun hails from Osun State. The couple recently had an intercultural wedding in October.

Sharing their love story, they said: “Udeme who was based in Lagos was posted to Ekiti state for NYSC. She joined a church (House of Faith Christian Centre) when she left camp.



“Temitope who resided in Ekiti and was also a worker in the church was very single and waiting. Udeme joined the choir in church and would often lead solo for the group.”



“The first time Temitope really noticed her was when she took a song titled I See Victory then he made up his mind to get to know her.”


“They became friends after close observations for 3 months and started dating in the first quarter of 2015. Temitope proposed at the end of the year (2015) and they tied the knot on the October 15, 2016.”


Their wedding took place at celebrations garden hall, Isaac john street GRA -ikeja. Lagos, Nigeria. Temitope is a wedding photographer and made sure his team captured the spectacular pictures at the wedding.
