T-pain hosts the Heineken 'live your music' party



After weeks of anticipation, American singer and rapper, T-Pain has arrived Lagos, the entertainment capital of Africa, for the Heineken ‘Live Your Music’ party today at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos
.

T-Pain was announced as the host of the first ever Heineken ‘Live Your Music’ party in Nigeria by Portfolio Manager, International Premium Brands, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Sampson Oloche, at a press cocktail for the 2016 Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week held at the Heineken House, Ikoyi Lagos.

According to Oloche, the ‘Live Your Music’ party is the official after party for the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week (HLFDW), which started on Wednesday, October 26 and ends today.

Also speaking at the event, Senior Brand Manager, Heineken, Ngozi Nkwoji, stated that the Heineken Live Your Music party is a party that is bound to leave its mark in the memory of music lovers, adding that the gig is tailored to give passionate music lovers the opportunity to enjoy various music genres and also take control of their music.

“This is a musical experience that is unprecedented within Nigeria, it will stand as a
testament that Heineken is a forward looking brand with a track record of creating innovative life experiences for her consumers. Heineken Live Your Music party will create a wonderful opportunity for music lovers to not only listen and dance to music but also live the music alongside other music lovers,” she said.

Nwaoji further explained that Heineken, as a global brand, sponsored the Lagos Fashion and Design Week as part of its effort to promote Nigeria’s rich creative industry through fashion, boost fashion-related commerce and push for the global recognition of Nigeria’s fashion industry that has produced a large number of designers with great local and international appeal.

“As always, Heineken through this year’s event aims at spotlighting the talents within the fashion industry, reaffirming its continued support for Nigerian entrepreneurs and the creative industry,” she stated.

She continues: “Heineken as part of its ‘Enjoy Heineken Responsibly (EHR)’, our global brand-led approach to promote responsible consumption, first launched in 2004, we have continue to integrate our responsible consumption program into all activities.
